Last season alone, Valdez posted a 3.66 ERA in 31 starts, including two complete games, covering a substantial 192 innings. He would undoubtedly be a valuable addition to any team's rotation. The Red Sox, in particular, could benefit from another elite arm to counter the power-hitting lineups of rivals like Aaron Judge and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
